Welcome to our local chapter of the American Payroll Association! We strive to provide the most current information possible to make your payroll efforts more efficient and precise. Please enjoy your visit and come back often, as information is always being added.
The North Carolina State Chapter of the American Payroll Association was founded in December, 1987. We currently enjoy a membership of over 200 payroll professionals from across North Carolina representing organizations of a wide variety of sizes and types.
Our chapter meets monthly in the central Triangle region from February through October. Meetings are held on the third Thursday of the month and meetings are normally scheduled for one and a half hours. Programming includes speakers on a wide variety of payroll-related topics, as well as other topics of general interest to the payroll professional, which provide you with an opportunity to earn CPP/FPC recertification credits.

Our chapter also co-hosts the annual Carolinas Payroll Conference in Myrtle Beach with the Charlotte chapter and the South Carolina Chapter.
Chapter Membership Dues
2010 dues will be due Jan 1, 2010.
Membership dues are $30.00 for members of the American Payroll Association and co-workers of national members, and $45.00 for all others. We are now accepting payments through PayPal. 2009 CPP Study Group
The 2009 Certified Payroll Professional Study Group will be held July 17 & 31 at Highwoods Properties in Raleigh, NC and August 14 & 28 at the Durham Herald-Sun in Durham, NC. Registration forms and payment must be received two weeks before session. The cost for the four days of training is $120.00. This includes continental breakfast and lunch each day. You can choose to attend one session or all four. Please pay via credit/debit card on our Payments page or send a check to:
